National Disgrace

Slanker's critters are not raised in confinement. They are outside on grass. Think about it. Where do you want your food to come from? Should your food be raised in a happy, healthy, earth-friendly environment, or in a crowded, unhealthy, destructive environment where they are fed grain instead of their natural feeds?

The pictures below show exactly how conventional production agriculture raises mass-produced, grain-fed livestock products for the American consumer. The pictures were scanned from magazines promoting confinement agriculture. The pictures were supposed to leave readers with a favorable impression regarding modern livestock management practices! We see them as a National Disgrace. We're ashamed that producers in our industry treat animals this way -- even if the animals like being on welfare. The answer may lie with the consumer. STOP BUYING any products that come from confinement agriculture. That may wake them up.
